- Mirroring and Load Balancing Services Licence

What players get
- Operators that hold customer funds must state clearly in writing, available to customers, whether those funds are protected if the operator becomes insolvent and how.
- All bookmakers and online operators must follow the JGC's self-exclusion policy; remote operators must provide an easy self-exclusion mechanism, time-outs and voluntary limits, and stop marketing loyalty schemes to self-excluded customers.
- Game outcomes must be randomly generated and controls must detect and rectify random number generator failures (Code of Practice: Minimum Standards); games must be tested and approved before being added to a licence, using JGC-approved testing houses.
- Licensees must publish a complaints and resolution procedure; disputes referred to an independent ADR provider must be reported to the JGC, and the JGC publishes a procedure for complaints about licensees.
How to check a licence
The JGC's List of Licensees (https://www.jgc.je/about-the-commission/list-of-licensees/) names every licensed remote gambling operator with its websites, along with platform providers, hosting and software permit holders and approved testing houses. Under the JGC's minimum technical standards, a fully licensed operator must show the JGC logo hyperlinked to the Commission's site, the licence number and the Commission's contact details. For British customers, also check the Gambling Commission's public register (https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/public-register/).

Context
Jersey's remote sector is small: the JGC lists three remote gambling operators and two platform providers.
Jersey remote B2C operators offering casino-style games must also register with the Jersey Financial Services Commission for anti-money-laundering supervision.
Game providers that cite this regulator
4ThePlayer, AGS, High 5 Games, Pariplay.
From the licences each provider lists on its own site. Supplying games (B2B) is different from running a casino (B2C).
- The content of the 2024-2026 document revisions was not compared line by line, so the recent_changes entries record that revisions happened, not exactly what changed.
- No primary or amending Jersey gambling legislation from 2024-2026 was found; jerseylaw.je was not checked directly.
- The older Gambling (Remote Gambling Disaster Recovery) (Jersey) Regulations (2008) were not checked; disaster recovery licensing is described from the JGC's current policy statement.
- Jersey's pre-2014 white-list status is stated from general knowledge of the repealed s.331 regime, not re-checked against the original order.
